Beautyworld Osaka 2026 brings together 620 exhibitors and introduces new ‘Sleep + Recovery’ zone

Osaka, 8 September 2026. Beautyworld Osaka, one of western Japan’s largest B2B trade fairs for the beauty industry, will take place from 19 – 21 October 2026 across Halls 1 – 5 and 6B at INTEX Osaka. The fair is set to host around 620 exhibitors, including approximately 480 from Japan and 140 from overseas markets, and welcome an anticipated 36,000 visitors. Exhibitors will present a wide range of products, services and techniques related to aesthetics, cosmetics, nails, hair, wellness, inner beauty and beauty foods. Reflecting growing interest in sleep improvement and fatigue recovery, a newly launched ‘Sleep + Recovery’ zone will feature recovery wear, relaxation products, and goods and services designed to support better sleep.

The fair is set to host around 620 exhibitors, with approximately 23% from overseas markets.International participants will come from countries and regions including Hong Kong, Ireland, Taiwan, Thailand and South Korea.The ‘Clinic Care’ zone, dedicated to medical professionals, will return, while Osaka Nail Forum, organised by the NPO Japan Nailist Association, will be held concurrently. Together with an extensive fringe programme, these features will provide an overview of emerging trends, new products and professional knowledge across the beauty sector.

Twelve zones covering every aspect of beauty
In total, the show will present 12 zones: Beauty Equipment, Business Support, Clinic Care, Cosmetics, Eyelash, Fem more, Hair, NEXT, Sleep + Recovery, Tasty, Wellness + Beauty and Osaka Nail Forum. NEXT, a special area exclusively for first-time exhibitors at Beautyworld Osaka, will host 31 companies. Companies seeking to expand their business in the beauty industry will present new products and services to professionals and buyers from across the region.

The newly established ‘Sleep + Recovery’ zone will introduce products suitable for both professional treatments and for retail sales in salons and retail stores. Exhibits will include recovery wear, relaxation products, and solutions related to sleep and rest. The area will highlight opportunities for salons to develop new treatments and retail offerings, strengthen customer retention and differentiate their services. International participation will include an expanded Korean Pavilion featuring approximately 90 companies. Occupying around three times the space of the previous edition, the pavilion will present a broader selection of Korean beauty products, services and trends.

Rich fringe programme promoting professional knowledge and practical skills
As part of the fair’s comprehensive fringe programme, 31 sessions will be held across seven stages and seminar formats. Topics will range from treatment techniques and emerging beauty trends to customer acquisition, revenue growth and salon management. Highlights include:

・The Esthetic Stage presents the latest insights, techniques, and salon management strategies. Topics spotlight sleep as a foundation for beauty and health, slimming massage techniques based on traditional East Asian medicine, and head massage methods designed to support physical and mental recovery. It also aims to analyse current and future beauty trends using data and insights from specialised media.

・The Hair & Nail Stage is set to host seminars and live demonstrations catered to stylists, nail artists, and eyelash professionals. Key themes include profitable salon management, structured approaches to hair design, and current Korean make-up trends and techniques.

・The Clinic Care Seminar, exclusively for medical professionals, covers current topics in aesthetic medicine like the role of nutrition in skin health and ageing care, the selection of clinics and doctors, and effective doctor-developed cosmetics.

・Premium Seminars
offer hands-on training in small groups, enabling participants to acquire practical techniques and professional knowledge that can be applied directly to salon treatments and services.

Further sessions will be presented through the Industry Association Seminars, Business Seminars and AJESTHE Special Seminars.
