Beautyworld Japan Osaka closes after attracting record-high 36,410 visitors for three days of cosmetics and wellness exchange

The 19th edition of Western Japan’s largest beauty trade show delivered impressive results. Dedicated to serving the region’s beauty industry, the show attracted 36,410 visitors (2023: 33,946 visitors), including salon owners, suppliers, retailers, and distributors – outstripping last year’s record by over 7%. Held from 21 – 23 October 2024 at INTEX Osaka, the fair allowed buyers to build business networks, explore in vogue products and services, and get inspired by cutting-edge tools and solutions, providing a key platform for a diverse range of leading exhibitors.

520 exhibitors unveil latest beauty trends and products at Beautyworld Japan Osaka

Set to attract numerous key players for three days of business and insight exchange, Beautyworld Japan Osaka will reiterate its standing as the largest and most important trade fair for Western Japan’s beauty industry. Taking place from 21 – 23 October 2024 at INTEX Osaka Halls 1 – 5 and 6B, the 19th edition will gather around 520 exhibitors from seven countries and regions, namely China, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Thailand and the US. The Korea and China Pavilions are key highlights from the international contingent, and will present innovative products and technologies for the first time to the Japanese market. This edition will also mark the debut of a new zone, ‘Tasty’, adding essential flavour to the show floor.

Beautyworld Japan Osaka reaches new heights with record exhibitor and visitor numbers

Osaka, 1st November 2023. By all accounts, the 18th edition of Beautyworld Japan Osaka was a major success – attracting more participants than ever before. Expanding to a sixth exhibition hall this year to accommodate ongoing growth, the show, which closed on 18 October 2023 at INTEX Osaka, received high acclaim for its wide product coverage and attendance from major players that are propelling innovation in the industry. Over three bustling days, it attracted 33,829 professional visitors and salon owners from the beauty sector in western Japan.

Beautyworld Japan Osaka achieves new milestone with 20% exhibitor increase

The largest trade fair for Western Japan’s beauty industry is set to open its doors on 16 October with a record number of exhibitors. Running until 18 October at INTEX Osaka, Halls 1 – 6, the fair has expanded to its largest ever scale, reflecting significant growth in the industry. As of 1 September, the 18th edition has already attracted 480 exhibitors (2022: 400) including 212 first time participants. The number of overseas exhibitors has also risen significantly from 17 to 65 compared to the previous edition. Expected to attract 34,500 visitors (2022: 33,408), the fair continues to cement its position as the regional hub for the beauty industry, drawing salon professionals and trade buyers from the region. This growth makes it the best place to showcase a wide range of products, services, techniques and information related to the beauty industry in western Japan.

Beautyworld Japan Osaka sees around 30% rise in buyer turnout and new record for exhibitor participation

More exhibitors, more buyers, more business results: by all metrics the 17th edition of Beautyworld Japan Osaka was the most successful yet, with the fair even surpassing pre-pandemic levels in terms of industry turnout. Wrapping up on 26 October, the fair hosted 400 exhibitors and 33,112 visitors which was a 17% and 29% increase respectively from 2021.

The show was held on the largest scale ever, with a record-breaking number of 292 exhibitors, including overseas exhibitors from Germany, Indonesia, Korea and the United Arab Emirates . Largest ever edition of Beautyworld Japan opens with newly implemented ‘Hair Zone’

Beautyworld Japan West, the key trade fair for Western Japan’s beauty industry, opens its doors on 15 October, and will be held until 17 October 2018, at INTEX Osaka Halls 3 – 5. In response to the many requests from exhibitors, the 2018 edition again grew by 10% in exhibition area. With 18,201 sqm gross, it is the largest show in the fair’s history.
